Hi Oliver, You are correct the VW Jetta Sportswagen and the VW Golf Estate are the same vehicle, so the 321630 will fit your vehicle. The only thing with your vehicle is it need a trim for the bottom of your bumper to hide the bumper cut, which is only available from Volkswagen. As for the electrics we only do the Euro 7 pin or 13 pin round connectors, 7 pin electrics are usually just for trailers and bike carriers and 13 pin electrics are mainly for caravans as they have the extra pins with the power lines in them. There is universal wiring which is the cheapest, needs to be spliced into the vehicles wiring but is perfectly safe or you could go for dedicated wiring which is a kit made for the vehicle (like the genuine kit) so it mostly plugs straight in and will enable any settings the vehicle has for example switch off parking sensors or activate trailer stability (Recommended for cars under warranty). With all Volkswagens you need to have the vehicle coded if you opt for the dedicated wiring kit, so the vehicle recognises it and activates all the functions for towing. Thanks.
