Bought to fit to a xc90. Easy to fit and worked no problems. Longest bit was identifying the correct car wires. Could have done with a longer cable between the towbar and relay box. Also supplied earth cable/wire very thin, so used other thicker wire I had lying around.

Plug seems decent enough
Fitted the unit and it seems pretty decent
Buzzer ain't to annoying
Nice activation beep when powered up (on a switched feed)

Unable to comment on how long they will last as it's to early to tell

But all appears good at the moment :)

This product works exactly as it should to bypass canbus etc. It requires some basic knowledge and a mutimeter to fit, but for occasional towing or bike rack use it’s a much cheaper alternative to the vehicle specific kits.

The tow bar was what I wanted, It was fitted to the car .A Peugeot 108
In a three hours,. wanted it for a towbar cycling carrier. Was told by some companies that you cannot fit a tow bar to a Peugeot even for a cycling carrier

Found this a bit labour intensive as it was the first time I had used a bypass relay when wiring a tow-bar, however the parts were of good quality & worked as they should on completion so all good.
