Hi Andy, These towbars do not come with an electric kit but you can select the kit using the drop down sections on the page. With Vauxhall's, the ECU doesn't need any additional programming to let the vehicle know you are towing. Many Thanks Jake

So the reverse sensors will not go mad and the rear fog lights won't come on. also the bulb sensors . downing extra power.will the towing light be present on the dash board. Cheers andy

Hi Andy, Yes, if you go for the Dedicated Kit. With the Universal Kit it will only run the lights and not activate any additional towing features your vehicle has. Please Note :- With Fixed Towbars, we cannot guarantee that the sensors will not pick up the towbar when you are not towing. So you may be best either standing something where the towbar would sit and seeing if they detect it or going for a Detachable to avoid the problem completely. Regards Jake

So the car will know it has a town bar on and the icon on the dashboard will be present. and the fog lights won't work on the car but on the trailer I am towing.

Hi Andy, Yes, if your vehicle has a light on the dashboard then it would light up when the trailer is connected (to tell you that a trailer is connected) The Kit includes 'Fog Light Cut Off' so it will switch off the fog lights on the car and turn them on when you are towing on the trailer.
