Vauxhall’s new vehicle warranty ensures your peace of mind against material or manufacturing defects for three years (unlimited mileage for the first 12 months and subject to a total mileage limit of 60,000 miles from first registration). This applies to all cars and vans except Vivaro and New Movano, the additional warranty for which carries a limit of 100,000 miles from first registration.

Bypass Relays

All Vauxhall Astra Hatchback K 2015 Onwardsfits that use a universal towbar electrics kit will require a require a bypass relay, this is to ensure that it does not present faults on the dashboard.

A bypass relay helps the universal kit hide from your vehicle ECU and functions so as not to put faults on the dashboard hence the name “BYPASS”.

A dedicated system works in harmony with your vehicles ECU and all of its functions.

Coding

This is the coding of the ECU to accept the dedicated system, this updates your vehicle's software to run smoothly with the new towbar, it works very much like an update to your smartphone. Vauxhall Astra Hatchback K vehicles made 2015 Onwards will not require coding.

Bumper cuts

We currently only offer towards that require a none visible cut, Vauxhall Astra Hatchback 2015 onwards, a bumper cut is required.

Nose weight

Nose weight is the amount of weight pushing down on the tow ball, it is important to not exceed the nose weight set on the tow bar, failure to do so could damage the car chassis and/or tow bar mounting points. For the Vauxhall Astra Hatchback manufactured 2017 Onwards, the minimum capacity is 75KG the maximum capacity is 90kg, nose weights are displayed under each tow bar below.

Towing weight
