Coding is required to tell the vehicles ECU that a towbar is present so the towing electrics will function properly. This is done with a diagnostic tool, and may need to be done by the main dealers.

Hi I have just bought a 2013 Peugeot Boxer medium wheelbase rhythm van conversion and wonder if this tow bar is suitable as it seems to have a different rear bumper to your diagram
