Hi Ken, Basically the 7 wires coming from the socket, the white one needs earthing to the body of the car and the other 6 go into the corresponding terminal on the bypass. Then the coloured wires from the bypass are crimped or spliced into the wires coming from the lights on your vehicle. You need a fused live for the bypass this fuse must be 10 amp and it needs grounding as well. Thanks.

HI John, The universal electrics kits fit any vehicle, they are manually wired into your back lights, and if your vehicle has canbus wiring you need to wire the bypass relay between the socket and the rear lights. Thanks.

Hi Matt This does not sound normal, what I suspect is happening is the power feed for the tti17 by-pass relay has either been taken from the wrong place or the supply to this relay is dropping out when you start the car What you need to check is the voltage on this relay when you are starting the car, to do this you need a multi meter across the power and earth wires to this relay, if you have a good 12volt supply then you need to check also the earth wire to this relay as this could also be the problem This supply needs to be a battery feed constant 12volt NOT an ignition 12volt supply Regards

Hi Keith, yes the PN20-TTI17 will fit any vehicle at all and work all the legally required lights, but will not change any parking sensor settings so they will bleep when towing and reversing at the same time. Thanks.
