Description

7 Pin Universal Electrics kit

Single Electrics, also known as 12(N), are fitted as standard.

They provide power from the towbar to the lights on a trailer or caravan. If your only going to be towing a trailer this is all you need.

You can tow a caravan using only single electrics, but the interior functions of the caravan, such as the fridge, wouldn't have power to them.

If you will only be using the towbar for a cycle carrier we recommend that you still have a single electric socket fitted so that you can power a light board over the bikes.

Reviews

it is exactly what is described
simple electrics no problems
Conforms to standard and solid.
First class service all the way from PF Jones.
Many Thanks
Great advice prompt service and kept me informed all the way and at a good price.
BEWARE "near side" in instructions means LEFT SIDE, not driver side. Otherwise the wrong indicators flash!

Cable was a little short, so I needed to add extra wire to reach the far indicators and tail lamps.

PF Jones response

Near Side, Off Side Explained.

Off Side = The Drivers Side of the Car, often shorten to O/S.
Near Side = The Passenger Side of the Car, often shorten to N/S.
An easy way to remember is Near Side is nearest the kerb, hence, Near Side.

Q & A

Hi About 2 years ago I purchased a towbar and universal wiring kit from you for my type s honda civic 2009. I fitted the towbar and electrics using the guides you supplied and everything worked fine. I have not used the trailer for a while now and when a came to use it recently the one indicator does not work and there is no noise from the beeper. I have checked the wires and found a loose one which I don't know where it has come from since I have lost the guide sent. What I was hoping is that you could E-mail me a copy of the wiring guide for the universal wiring kit so I can check where the loose wire goes. Thanks and Regards Darren
