It is known, although not admitted by VW, that the injectors fitted to the CAYD 1.6 l TDI engine of my VW Caddy fail due to electrical failure within the actuator. The injectors purchased from P F Jones are made by the same manufacturer that supplies VW but, although expensive, cost less than half the price required by VW.
