The Alfa Romeo 156 Saloon is a car which was designed with a flair of its Italian heritage, it is more aesthetically pleasing than its predecessor whilst also being a massive improvement than before in terms of build quality. The underlying design of the 1156 goes back to 1998 and although this model has had a huge makeover the inspiration from the original is still clear to see. The vehicle does not have a published Euro NCAP crash test result which is something which has quickly become fairly standard within today’s market. The security of the vehicle is as good as can be expected and includes a standard alarm, immobiliser, keyless entry and an unique fit stereo. As far as the luggage space in saloons goes, this one is pretty poor, coming in at 378 litres. It will prove difficult to manage if the space is needed to carry large loads at any time.
