The Ateca is Seat’s all-new model and its first SUV offering. The composition of the vehicle is similar to the Volkswagen Tiguan, but it’s a little shorter than the VW and considerably cheaper in price. There is a choice of petrol and diesel engines with front and four-wheel drive options. The vehicle has a huge 2353kg maximum towing capacity which is enough to be able to comfortably tow a large family sized caravan whilst still keeping to the recommended 85% to be used when towing.
The Ateca is positioned well in the variety of Seat’s vehicles and comes with the drive profile feature which allows the driver to sharpen the throttle response and add weight to the steering by choosing Sports mode. The Ateca is a reliable and sensible car with small body movements that benefit the driving when towing a heavier caravan. There is an abundance of space within the cabin of this vehicle and a taller person sat behind a tall driver in the back would need not be worried about their knees digging in the back. The vehicle has 510 litres of Boot space which is enough to load family luggage.

Depending on whether you have taken the extended warranty cover, Seat Ateca's which are less than three years old, and which have driven less than 60,000 miles on the clock, will have a manufacturers warranty active.

Bypass Relays
Seat Ateca 2016 onwards will not require a bypass relay when universal electrics are fitted. Bypass relays are used to ensure that the kit does not present faults on the dashboard.A bypass relay helps the universal kit hide from your vehicle ECU and functions so as not to put faults on the dashboard hence the name “BYPASS”.
A dedicated system works in harmony with your vehicles ECU and all of its functions.
Coding
This is the coding of the ECU to accept the dedicated system, this updates your vehicle's software to run smoothly with the new towbar, it works very much like an update to your smartphone. All Seat Ateca 2016 onwards will require coding. Dedicated kits will not invalidate any warranty you may have.Bumper cuts
