Clean hands on the move with the TEAL Compact Classic hot water hand wash unit.

It combines the advantages and durability of brushed stainless steel finish with the latest TEAL electronic control, making it an ideal unit for motor vehicles.

 

The TEAL Compact Classic for motor vehicles allows washing under hot running water that is tightly temperature controlled to give a most hygenic and comfortable wash.

The multi jet spray tap head with finger tip control, ensures an even spread of water and a excellent wash can be achieved in ten seconds using only a wineglass full of water. There’s no need to mix hot and cold water and no need to fill the bowl.

*Standard unit: voltage sensing

These units incorporate voltage sensing technology. This means that the unit will automatically switch on and off when the vehicle itself is turned on and off.

Standard CC12

• When the vehicle is turned off, the battery state is quiescent at 12V.
• When switched on, the alternator will raise the battery output to 14-14.5V.
• The software in the Compact Classic will see this rise and switch the unit on when 13.8 volts is detected. The Compact Classic will then continue to work until the vehicle is switched off and the unit will see the battery output drop back to 12V, cutting out out at 12.8V.
• The battery will not be therefore be drained by the Compact Classic.

Standard CC24

• When the vehicle is turned off the battery state is quiescent at 24V.
• When switched on, the alternator will raise the battery output to 28V.
• The software in the Compact Classic will see this rise and switch the unit on when 26.6 volts is detected. The Compact Classic will then continue to work until the vehicle is switched off and the unit will see the battery output drop back to 24V and will cut out at 25.5 V.
• The battery will not be therefore be drained by the Compact Classic.

**Non voltage sensing

The non voltage sensing Compact Classic unit model number is CC12NV.

With the advent on many modern vans of Smart Regenerative Charging technology, the alternator will have the ability to see the state of battery charge and decide to switch on and off during the journey – thus saving fuel.

The consequence of this, is to potentially keep switching the Compact Classic on and off during the journey, which reduces the heating time available.

To overcome this issue, Teal have introduced non voltage sensing software. The Compact Classic will, when connected to the vehicle’s battery, switch on and keep running, which could potentially run the battery flat.

Therefore a switch or relay must be introduced between the battery and the Compact Classic, enabling it to be switched off either manually or automatically.

The choice of switches or relays is down to customer preference.
