Anyone looking to fit this to an Octavia VRs MkIII should seriously consider having someone else do it!

To remove the bumper you have to access screws hidden behind the trim in the wheel arch (the mucky bit that catches all the dirt). That's fairly easy, however, you then have to drop the rear exhaust boxes AND THE HEAT SHIELD on both sides, which is a serious pain in the **** because of the nasty clips.

Only then can you access the holes for the ... hold on, there aren't any holes in the right place.... hold on yes there are - they are taped up (as the instructions say), but also sealed and painted over so it's not at all obvious.

OK so now I've got it fitted and try to replace the bumper - but it won't go on..... you have to cut it in order to refit it, which means that the bar protrudes from the bottom of the bumper even when the removable swan neck isn't fitted. Quite disappointed about this as I assumed that when removed there would be nothing showing.

All of that an I haven't even tackled the wiring yet....

After checking this towbar it clearly states that it requires a non visible cut to the bumper.
Towbar fitting is not for everybody, if you have any concerns about this please feel free to contact one of our technical team.
