The Laurels, Skegness

Close enough to the amenities of seaside town Skegness but enough distance away from the hustle and bustle, this campsite is perfect if you want the option of peaceful days or active days.

It is a well-kept site with two fishing lakes and the lovely picturesque countryside as a setting. The local village to the site, Addlethorpe has a café, restaurant, golf course and pub – so you have plenty of options for activities. You’re also near other seaside towns like Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea.

Poolsbrook Country Park site, Derbyshire

This campsite is nestled into the 165-acre Poolsbrook Country Park, which was previously the location of an active colliery. Now, however, it serves as this delightful campsite with a children’s play area, visitor centre, café and well-stocked fishing lakes. The site also has its trails that you can explore, whether you explore on foot, on a bike or with your dog is your choice! You’re also close to the Trans-Pennine Trail.

2 miles South from the site you will find Staveley town centre which is full of industrial heritage. You can observe local wildlife as the area is rich with a variety of birds and animals!

Coniston Park Coppice Club, Coniston

Set in 63-acres of scenic National Trust woodland, this site is perfect for the nature lovers. This site has easy access to the attractions of Coniston Water, so it’s even perfect for a family trip! 

On-site, you can find a mini-adventure playground for children, as well as cycling, rock climbing and guided pony treks around the fells.

400 yards away you will have access to the lakeside launching point, where you can enjoy some water sports such as dinghy sailing, windsurfing or canoeing. You’re also near Coniston Pier, which has steamboat rides on the Coniston Gondola, several cafes and pubs with great pub grub are just 1 mile away.
