Kingsbury Water Park Campsite, Sutton Coldfield

This Mildand’s-based site is a firm family favourite because of its convenient location to destinations such as Drayton Manor and Cadbury World.

On the site, you can find two play areas, a small train and a children’s farm which are suitable for the little ones or if you’re travelling with older children, there are many walking and cycling tracks to enjoy. There’s even a farmer’s market in Coleshill which you can enjoy!

Delamere Forest Campsite, Northwich

This site is perfect for the active families who are looking to add a bit of adventure into their days.

The site is surrounded by beautiful greenery and has many nearby attractions including a Go Ape! course which has zip wires and Tarzan swings. The Abbeywood Gardens that are also located nearby have a two-kilometre wildlife walk that you can explore, or you can take a visit to the Stonyford Cottage Gardens at Northwich to explore their woodland walk.

You can also pay a visit to the fish and chip van that visits on a Friday!

Chertsey Club Site, Surrey

Located on the banks of the Thames, this site is again a great location if you want to access some of the country’s best-loved theme parks such as Lego Land, Thorpe Park and Chessington.

The site itself also has a games room with a TV and table tennis table, so there’s plenty to do on-site! If your family love a good walk, you can enjoy the Thames Path nature trail or explore the famous Kew, Wisely and Savill Gardens.

Humble Bee Farm, Scarborough

Whilst this site is more on the peaceful side, it is still a lovely site to visit especially for younger children who will love the working farm.

The site has a children’s play area, walking paths, a football field and a shop on site too! You can even head to the duck pond to feed some ducks or take a walk on the farm. If you’re heading out for the day, you can visit some great attractions such as Flamingoland, Scarborough Sea Life and more.
