The Audi Q2 was launched in 2016 as a hybrid between a coupe and an SUV. They quickly become an extremely popular model for Audi with many people liking the fact that the Audi Q2 had the look of an SUV but the size of a coupe car.

If you own an Audi Q2 it is vitally important that you know the towing limits for the model of your car in order to remain safe and legal on the road. For example if you are towing an unbraked trailer the weight capacity for Audi Q2 models is anywhere between 670 – 750kg.  Whereas, if you are towing a braked trailer the weight capacity is much higher, depending on which Audi Q2 model you have, you can tow anything from 1500kg – 1800kg. It is recommended that all Audi Q2 Towbars are fitted with a dedicated electrics kit rather than a universal electrics kit. Using a dedicated electrics kit will ensure all modern features such as; trailer stability and parking sensors are functional but also helps to keep your Audi Q2’s warranty unaffected.
Depending on the tow bar, Audi Q2 vehicles may require a bumper cut. A bumper cut is when a fraction of the vehicle's rear bumper is cut in order to fit the tow bar. You have a choice of visible, non-visible and no bumper cuts for the tow bars offered with the Audi Q2 range.
