How to Install an Eberspacher Diesel Heater.

The Eberspacher D2 diesel heater operates independently from your engine. They draw in outside air, heat this up and then deliver it to the interior of the vehicle. The heater is also supplied with fuel from your vehicle's fuel tank. It comes with a digital controller thermostat, so the heater unit always delivers the right amount of heat. Start-up usually takes just a minute before you receive your warm air, and the controller speeds up and slows down the heater according to your temperature wishes.

The Install process:

1. There are two options for an Eberspacher installation. Either the unit can be located under the driver or passenger seat or underslung below the vehicle in the space between the floor and belly pans.

1. Position and mark the spot where the heating system will be placed and drill the holes for the outside air, fuel pump, wires and exhaust. Then mount and fasten the heater with the provided bolds to the vehicle.

1. Install the fuel pump, exhaustion vent and outside air intake and link them to the heating system. Add the muffler to the exhaustion vent to diminish the sound of the heating process. Crimp and tighten all connections to your van to prevent issues while driving.

1. Install and plug in the wires for the fuel pump and control panel. Create a fusebox where you join the wires and hook them onto your battery.

1. Drill a hole in the frame of your vehicle for the hot air vent where you seem appropriate. Set up the provided hot air exhaustion.

1. Link up your controller and the remaining wires. Install the control panel at your convenience onto one of the walls.
