This pack includes the socket as well as the detachable neck. You can convert your current fixed head towbar to a detachable head with these kits. You must make sure you get the correct part number for the tow bar fitted to your vehicle as they are all different.

I fitted mine and it was a little fiddly, but not too bad. You need a torque wrench to ensure the four bolts are tightened correctly. The detachable head is pretty difficult to fit and remove too as the spring on the release knob is very tight so it takes some strength.

However I am very pleased to have converted my towbar from a fixed neck to a detachable neck. I used it yesterday with no issues.
