Audi 80 Towbars

The Audi 80 is a car that went out of production in 1995, and was replaced by the Audi A4. It is a vehicle with a maximum towing weight of 1865kg and when the vehicle was released Audi offered all of buyers purchasing the brand new vehicle a 10 year bodywork guarantee, of course this isn’t much use to any owners now, but it is an excellent display of the faith Audi had in the car. The Audi 80 made history by being the first mass produced car to use a fully galvanised steel body, making it completely rust resistant. The Audi 80 looked entirely different than its predecessor and this was a huge change within the automobile market. At the moment this car isn’t seen as a classic, just as an old car. There were different models and engines which launched with the vehicle.
