The Hyundai ix35 is a small crossover range that was introduced in 2010. It was designed to rival cars such as the Nissan Qashqai and Kia Sportage, which are all apart of the same crowded segment. Before the range became known as the ix35, since 2005 it was named the Hyundai Tucson and shared a platform with the redesigned Kia Sportage. Along with the name change, the range received an all round upgrade which essentially made it a new model altogether. The new premium feel of the range means that drivers feel like they are driving a brand new car. Available with the series is a range of petrol and diesel engines, including a 1.7 litre CRDi diesel and 2.0 litre CRDi diesel motor. These diesel engines deliver a hassle free driving experience and offer refinement as well as economy. In all, the Hyundai ix35 is a range with great capabilities and family friendly practicality- meaning it is an ideal family car.
