Since 1983 the Ford Ranger model has been available in the US, it was only until 1998 that the range became known globally. It is a pick-up truck range that is currently in its third generation. The range is well equipped, with the recent generation improving the on-road drivability. After the 2016 upgrade to the series, the higher specifications mean that the vehicle can now be considered an alternative to large SUVs. Available with either a 2.2 litre TDCi diesel engine or a 3.2 litre TDCi diesel motor, both of these engines are strong with great levels of economy.
