The Citroen Synergie is a MPV range that was launched in 1995 as the manufacturers response to the success of the 1984 Renault Espace. The market segment for family transport was in its prime, so the French brand teamed up with Peugeot, Fiat and Lancia to produce a lineup of people carriers. The Synergie was Citroen’s product and a part of what became known as the ‘Eurovan’. When the range was released it was as a seven seater vehicle, by 1999 this had expanded to a eight seater option targeting bigger families. The spacious interior is airy and well designed, while the sliding doors provide convenience when entering and exiting the vehicle. Available with a petrol engine, the range also offers a frugal 2.0 litre HDi diesel engine which is a buyers favourite and delivers great refinement. In all, the Citroen Synergie is a perfect family car that has maintained its popularity through the years.
