The BMW Mini is a range that was revived by the brand in 2001 and is currently on its third generation as of 2014. It is easy to say that the range gets bigger and better with every generation, with the Mini series winning at the 2016 New Car Awards. Fun to drive and surprisingly cheap, the series is passable as a family form of transport. Although there are a few petrol engines on offer, the range only holds one diesel engine; the Cooper D 1.5 litre diesel motor. Incredibly smooth and quiet, the diesel engine is both economical and efficient. The range is designed following the exaggerated style of it’s 1960s classic predecessor, continuing it’s hold individual characteristics and uniqueness.
