The Alfa Romeo 166 is a range with a executive saloon body that was introduced in 1999. Although it is not commonly spotted on UK roads, it is a great alternative to more costly cars of similar design. Fitted with the Alfa brand styling, this brings an additional charm to the vehicle. As the 166 is an older Alfa range, it’s no surprise there’s barely any diesel engines offered but plenty of petrol engines available. The lone diesel engine is the 2.4 litre which was included to the range in a later upgrade. Despite this, the powerful diesel engine and refined interior of the range results in a fun, easy drive.
