Pet-Friendly Caravan Sites

Caravanning is one of the most popular holiday choices in the UK throughout the year. If you are planning on going on a caravan holiday in the near future, there are several things that you need to consider. One of the main things to consider is, are you allowed to take your dog?

If you aren’t sure which caravan sites allow dogs, here is a list of our favourite sites that do;

Waldegraves Holiday & Leisure Park – Essex

Waldegraves Holiday Park is set on the Coast of Mersea Island in Essex. It is great for families with live entertainment, a swimming pool, crazy golf, fishing lakes and a restaurant. They also allow up to 4 pets per pitch, each pet costs an extra £2 per night. There are plenty of great walks that you can take with your dog, either in the countryside or along the beach.

Chy Carne Holiday Park – Cornwall

Chy Carne is perfect for beach lovers! Located just above the bay at Kennack Sands, it is only a ten-minute walk down to the beach. Chy Carne market themselves as being pet lovers! They have their own designated field to exercise your dog if you are not going down to the beach, dogs are also allowed into the onsite bar provided they are on a lead.

Callow Top Holiday Park – Derbyshire

Callow Top is an award-winning holiday park that is surrounded by the Derbyshire countryside, perfect for taking your dog on walks around the Peak District National Park. The site also has its own pub, supermarket, swimming pool, games room and children’s play area.  The site is dog-friendly however you must keep your dog on a lead when walking through the site.

Langstone Manor Holiday Park – Devon

Langstone Manor is located within Dartmoor National Park, it is surrounded by stunning scenery and idyllic country walks. They welcome dogs at no extra charge to you, however, you will need to keep your dog on the lead when walking around the site. The site also offers free use of hot showers, an onsite restaurant and a children’s play area.

Hafan y Môr Holiday Park – Pwllheli North Wales

Hafan y Môr is the ideal destination for families with a dog! They have direct beach access, close to Snowdonia National Park and have an indoor swimming pool and slide, an arcade, a variety of restaurants, play areas and boat hire!
