Air & water heating 

You can choose from two different heating systems, both of which also help save gas since they directly run off your vehicle‘s main fuel tank:  

• Air heating – Eberspächer Airtronic  

• Water heating – Eberspächer Hydronic 

The Airtronic models quickly ensure a pleasantly warm vehicle interior, while the Hydronic not only heats the vehicle, but also your water in the kitchen or shower. 

How it works 

As soon as the heater receives its starting pulse, the following processes are triggered by the central control unit: 

1. Automatic safety check. 

1. The burner motor starts, the combustion space is pre-ventilated, the glow plug is warmed up, the metering pump conveys fuel. 

1. The glow plug ignites the fuel-air mixture, the flame is formed. 

1. The hot combustion gases flow through the heat exchanger. 

1. The hot air fan draws in room air or fresh air. 

1. The heat of the combustion gases is transferred by the heat exchanger to this hot air. 

Air heaters are an excellent solution for commercial vehicles of every type. They can be installed just as well in the cab as in the luggage compartment, or under the floor. Practical controls - such as a digital Eberspacher timer or an innovative Eberspacher radio remote control - make sure you’re as comfortable as possible.
